To ensure you never miss a call and your device stays reliably connected to the DC Connect system, Background App Refresh must be enabled.
When this feature is disabled, the DC Connect app can't maintain its registration with our servers while running in the background. This means:
You may still receive a push notification about an incoming call.
But when you try to answer the call, the app may fail to connect.
Background App Refresh allows apps to update their content in the background, even when you're not actively using them. For DC Connect, this ensures your device stays registered and ready to handle calls at any time.
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Go to General.
Tap on Background App Refresh.
Ensure Background App Refresh is set to Wi-Fi & Cellular Data.
Scroll down the list of apps and ensure DC Connect is toggled ON.
