DC Connect + SIP Logging


To assist with diagnosing connection or call issues with DC Connect + we may request a SIP log from the device. This article covers the setup steps required to enable logging and share the log with us. 

Enable Logging


From the dialer screen tap the 3 dots and open the setting menu in the top right.


Select preferences:
 

Toggle on Log SIP Traffic:

Once SIP logging is enabled a new SIP Log option will appear in the settings menu:


At this point you can resume using the app as you normally would.

Alert
Please send in logs as quickly after an event as possible. They only keep a limited amount of data saved! 

Sharing the Logs 


If the issue we are attempting to diagnose happens again please use the steps below to send us the SIP log. 

Open the settings menu as described above, and select the new SIP Log option:


This will open the log. Next tap the 3 dots in the top right and select Share


This will open your phones sharing options. It is recommended that you send the .log file to us via email, it is typically to large for a SMS attachment.
