πŸš€ Enhancements:

Release: 2.3.91: 11/7/24

πŸš€ Enhancements:
  1. Reviews are now displayed in the customer profile!

  2. The new customer Journey view has also been released. In this view you can see all interactions with a customer in an easy to read timeline view
  3. The new mobile voice and messaging app is officially available in the app store! The android version will be available in the coming days. You do need to be on our latest voice infrastructure to use the app. We have been slowing migrating customers over the past month. If you go to the support page and the app store icons are listed, you have access. Otherwise, we need to migrate you.
  4. Deferred items are now surfaced to returning customers in the scheduler!

  1. New User edit layout!
  2. Customer Profile Photos: DC will use the profile photos from google reviews in the chat window
  3. New User notifications: New tasks and connector alerts can now be sent via email. These were SMS only before. There is also a new section to control the alerts that go to the mobile application.

  4. New Call Routing Editor: The new design has error checking and will highlight steps in red if they have errors:

  1. Improved campaign management layout! This is the first of several updates planned to improve ease of management and campaign monitoring.
  2. New Tech RO list view. This update allows the tech to see more ROs at once while on mobile devices

  1. The new table system update broke the ability to delete campaign messages from the list view. This has been resolved.
  2. The parts/labor search reports were not returning correct results. This has been resolved.

  1. Updated the admin call summary graph to break out calls by location
  2. Added support for direct numbers to support SMS and Calls
  3. Marking a caller as a vendor will now be retro active
  4. Email to Task: Have an email form on your website for capturing customer info. This can now generate a task in DC. See this article for details
  5. The Calendar view is now available for Mitchell and RO Writer customers
  6. DC Bookings now supports a same day booking buffer. This prevents a customer from booking an appointment 10 minutes before showing up at the shop.

Release: 2.3.65: 9/16/24

πŸš€ Enhancements:
  1. Missed call tasks are now automatically closed when the customer has been called back!
  2. Google Reviews are now auto matched to the customer by name. If it isn't possible, you can still manually match the customer
  3. New campaign email templates! You now have a template library to choose from!
  4. Booking Confirmation: You can now toggle on email and SMS appointment confirmations. These are sent right after a customer books an appointment with our scheduling tool
  5. Scheduler QR code is now easily accessible from the scheduler setup page!
  6. If your shop doesn't require a signature at check-in, you can now disable the signature collection globally or at the location level

  1. Resolved issues with the TM share window closing

  2. First Time Call Conversation report was not showing conversions for this month

  3. DVI Summary not displaying advisor names when groups are in use

  4. Canned response permissions not honoring groups

πŸš€ Enhancements:
  1. Images can now be added to canned messages! Common uses would be including a photo of your key drop location or key lockbox instructions
  2. Business Contact Cards (vCards) can now be added to canned messages as well. This is a great way to make sure your customers have all your important contacts saved in their phone with your Business Name, Logo, web, booking, and social links. You can preview your vCard under Sites -> Site -> Site Information [Edit]
    Click the Download vCard button:

  3. The DC Online booking tool is here! We will be releasing a follow-up video and documentation early next week on how to set it up and what to provide to your webteam to add the widget to your website.

  1. New task layout: quickly find the tasks by category. New and unread messages float to the top so they don't get lost in the mix
  2. Need to clean up old tasks? Now you can select multiple tasks and mark them complete all at once
  3. New On Demand campaign filter: Segment your customer list by vehicle make!
  4. Texting large images or video from your mobile device via DC? DC will now auto detect the size, if too large to send via a regular text, it will be sent as a clickable link
  5. New Report: First Time Caller Conversion! This report looks at the conversion rate for first time callers! We've already had some great feedback on this report and will be adding additional features to it

  1. Resolved a long time issue where audience previews would stall. Usually when running large campaigns. This has been resolved!

  2. Fixed serveral issues that caused the messaging interface to render poorly on mobile

πŸš€ Enhancements:
  1. Missed Call Tasks are now available! To enable them administrators can go to settings -> communication preferences

    When a call is missed, a new task will be created that can be used to text or call the customer back. If the caller ends up leaving a voicemail, the missed call task will update to a voicemail.
  2. Granular report permissions are here! You can now control what reports are available to users. Under the user profile click on Report Permissions. Currently only the reports listed are supported. We will soon be enabling this for all reports. If permissions are not set, the user is limited to their default site.
  3. The Reviews page now includes the review count for the week and if you have multiple locations, displays the location name at the top:

πŸš€ Enhancements:
  1. Tekmetric share screens now include the notes next to the phone number along with a star for the primary number.
  2. Automated Text Replies. PLEASE READ! We received lots of questions about this on Friday.
    1. DC has always responded with an initial message letting customers know their text was received and someone would responded shortly. This message is configurable in the site settings section.
    2. Until last Thursday these messages did not appear in the message thread.
    3. All system messages will now show in the message thread with a DC logo next to it.
    4. We have added some logic so that if the task is marked complete and the customers sends in a new message within 24 hours, the auto response will now be suppressed. 
  3. Local users will now show in the DC directory on the phones! 
  4. Users can now disable the audible alert under their profile settings.

πŸͺ² Bug Fixes:
  1. If the technician webview reloads during an inspection, it will now refresh will all of the recent changes. Previously it would reload to the state which the inspection started. This lead to techs starting over because they thought their work had been lost.
  2. Resolved an issue where the transcription and advisor IQ detail didn't changed when using the next/prev buttons.
  3. Extension Summary Report: extensions for accounts that were disabled will appearing in the call log instead of the current user with that extension.
  4. Calls routed through a call queue will now trigger a call pop to the desktop, similar to direct calls or calls to a ring group.
  5. Lots of misc bug fixes. We appreciate the crash reports that are submitted with comments. This greatly improves the speed in which we can determine the cause of the crash

  1. New graphs - Easier to read, handle resizing better, and cases were customers have lots of locations
  2. Review landing page! You can now include a review landing page in your SMS and Email Campaigns. This page will route 1 - 3 star reviews to your internal feedback form that is emailed to the shop. 4-5 will b directed to google reviews
  3. Review Management is here! You can now link your Google My Business account with DC. This allows your managers and to see reviews, link them to your customers, reply to reviews, and receive email alerts when a new review is left. All without adding them directly to your Google My Business account. This feature is still in beta and can be added to your site by request.
  4. Date Based campaigns now work for all trigger types.
  5. Extension Summary Report: You can now see a summary of calls by extension. 
  6. Auto Display Directory: The directory is now displayed without searching for a specific contact
  7. Wallboard: For customers using the wallboard, you can now set it to default to the advisor wallboard view or the tech board.
  8. Campaign links now have a built-in QR-Code generator

πŸͺ² Bug Fixes:
  1. Managers were not showing in the user filter list on the calls page
  2. certain files were not size optimized causing longer load times on mobile and/or slower connections.


Release: 2.3.9 (Alpha): 5/16/24

We made two minor updates in this fridays alpha release. We plan to push the 2.3.6 and these updates to everyone over the weekend.
  1. Advisor RO search can now filter by ro number, name, and vehicle. This only filters open ROs and is very fast.
  2. Added the ability to rotate images before saving! 
  3. Adjusted the image markup toolbar so that the arrow is the first option. 
  4. Updated the media manager so that the image zoom is opened when the photo is clicked/tapped.

Release: 2.3.6 (Alpha): 5/12/24

This release only applies to customers on the alpha releases. If the version in the lower left of your screen matches, you are on the alpha release. Click here to watch a video walk through of these updates.

πŸš€ Enhancements:
  1. Customer DVI display preferences can now be set at the site level. For example you can now have required items listed first at all locations but if one locaiton would prefer everything that tested good at the top, we can now accommodate this.
  2. The Customer's DVI view now includes the "Reason for Visit" at the top of the DVI. 
  3. Advisors can now view the DVI items in the natural order of the inspection or the items can be grouped by severity.
  4. Advisors can now click on the "i" icon under a photo to check the timestamp of when the image was taken.
  5. Inspection definitions can now include recommendations! Each finding can now include a collection of recommendations.
  6. The Inspection definition page now highlights items that require photos and notes for easier management.
  7. SMS or Call a customer directly from the RO page. You no longer need to flip back to the RO list to start a message with the drop downs. We have included them on the RO page:

  1. Rolled the merged admin/user portal out to all users! 
  2. First time callers are now tallied in the call summary report along with with vendor calls!
  3. A new email alert allows users to be sent an email with the content of text messages that are received after hours. 
  4. New table system! We started converting reports to the new table system. This will allow much more control over report data.

  1. Merged the admin and user portal! Admin and site managers will now see sites, users, settings on the left hand navigation bar. No need to switch portals! 
  2. First time callers and vendor calls are now tallied in the call summary view. First time callers are also tagged in the call detail view.

πŸš€ Enhancements:
  1. The image markup tool now defaults to a thicker line. The last tool selected is also maintained requiring fewer clicks
  2. Canned messages now support group visibility
  3. Videos can now be added to the "vehicle photos" section.  This is helpful for initial walkaround videos.
πŸͺ² Bug Fixes:
  1. Duplicate VIN warnings are no longer shown when editing an existing vehicle
  2. DVI Photos not randomly not saving has been resolved!
  3. Advisor IQ Manager alert emails should now be sent properly
  4. Directory visibility when groups are enabled has been fixed

Release: 2.2.276: 3/22/24

  1. The SMS task window will now dynamically link to an open RO related to that customer
  2. AI Responses are now available for customers with Advisor IQ enabled. 
  3. AI Prompts - New phone prompts can be created using AI or Amazon Polly voices
  4. The Call log will now include an icon for missed called. A missed call is any call with ring time, but no talk time.
  5. Advisor IQ will now auto-tag incoming calls. These tags includes, scheduled, sale, lead, lost, status, etc. These tags help to quickly identify the nature and outcome of an inbound call.
  6. Admin/Manager message view - Revamped to look like the chat view in the user portal.
  7. New image markup/annotation tool. Technicians and advisors now have a new tools for annotating on images. This enhancement also allows annotations on photos before they are saved.
