Zebra Label Support
Status: Beta
DC can print key tag and oil tags to Zebra printers using the Zebra Browser Print application.
We recommend the Zebra GK420D. We always recommend connecting these printers to your network vs using USB.
Before attempting to print labels from DC, make sure Zebra Browser Print is installed and it can detect your printer. If it cannot detect your printer, please work with your local IT resource before attempted to continue with the DC integration.
The images set under your site must be 400px by 90px in order to display properly on the labels. Logos with white or transparent backgrounds print best on the thermal printers.
Key tag dimensions: Width: 1.25" Height: 2.25"
Oil tag dimensions: Width: 2.5" Height: 1.75"
Customers have reported good results with the labels from DuraReady for Oil tags. They can be found here.
To enable label printing navigate to sites in the admin portal.
- Edit the site to enable label printing.
- Click on Printer Management
- Set the printer type to "Zebra" and toggle the labels you wish to have available. Click Save.
Once complete, you advisors will be able to printer Oil Change and/or Key Tag labels from their RO screen.
