📞 Yealink: Hold, Park, and Transfer Quick Reference


1. 🔒 Placing a Call on Hold

Use when you want to temporarily pause the call on your own phone.

To Hold:

  • During a live call, press the Hold soft key.

  • The caller will hear hold music (if configured).

  • The screen shows the call as on hold.

To Resume:

  • Use the arrow keys to select the held call.

  • Press Resume to continue speaking.


2. 🚗 Parking a Call (Using Park Buttons)

Use to move the call to a shared park slot others can pick up from any phone.

To Park:

  • While on a call, simply press a Park key (e.g., Park 1, Park 2, etc.).

  • The call is immediately placed into that parking slot.

To Retrieve:

  • From any phone, press the corresponding Park key (e.g., Park 1) to retrieve the call.

💡 If the park slot is already occupied, the LED next to the Park key will be lit or flashing, depending on system configuration.


3. 🔁 Transferring a Call

Use when you need to send a live call to another person.

A. Blind Transfer (Unannounced):

  • Press the Transfer button.

  • Enter the target extension or number.

  • Press Transfer again to complete.

B. Attended Transfer (Announced):

  • Press Transfer.

  • Dial the extension.

  • Wait for the person to answer.

  • Press Transfer again to connect the two calls.
