- How do I set up OktoRocket to recognize rollover with Mitchell 1 or RO Writer?
To enable Rollover functionality with your SMS, you’ll need to start tracking tickets by Status Description. OktoRocket relies on ticket statuses to determine when a ticket is sold.
Once it detects a sold or authorized status applied to a ticket, it records a sold date for that ticket. These sold dates are then used by OktoRocket to accurately account for Rollover.
- What is the time between each data sync for OktoRocket?
For cloud based SMS systems it is ~1 hour. For in shop systems like RO Writer and Mitchell 1, it is every 5 minutes.
- Why are Shop-Ware & OktoRocket technician hours are not matching up?
In keeping with the original Sales Tracker created by Shop Fix, OktoRocket follows a similar model by displaying Technician Quoted Hours rather than Production Hours.
- Where does OktoRocket pull the marketing information from in TekMetric?

- If I am using one shop management system (SMS) and switch to another in the middle of a month, can I still keep integrated with OktoRocket?
Yes, when you migrate to a new shop management system (SMS), we can integrate it to ensure a continuous flow of data. Just let our support team know that you're making the switch, and they’ll guide you through the process.
- What do I need to do if I am making an SMS switch?
Please contact our support team via chat or email us at support@oktorocket.com.Important: Before we begin the transition, please ensure that all work-in-progress (WIP) tickets are either closed out in your previous SMS or transferred to your new SMS. This step is essential, as OktoRocket cannot be integrated with two SMS systems simultaneously. If WIP tickets are not closed or moved, they will not be updated in the new system. Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition and maintain the accuracy of your data throughout the switch. Let us know when you're ready, and we’ll guide you through the process.
