⚠️ Note: XX5X extensions are commonly used for paging but may vary based on company size and existing extension usage.
⚠️ Note 1: Do this for every Algo device
⚠️ Note 2: Ignore the “Reboot Required” prompt for now
224.5.6.20:1000X
where X is the unique identifierUse the following template to set up the DSS key on Yealink phones for direct paging via extension:
linekey.6.label=Insert Name Here linekey.6.line=1 linekey.6.type=13 linekey.6.value=XXX
⚠️ Replace XXX with the Algo Transmitter’s extension
⚠️ Linekey number (e.g., 6) can be adjusted as needed
Use this configuration for Yealink phones paging a multicast group:
linekey.10.extension=0 linekey.10.label=Insert Name Here linekey.10.line=0 linekey.10.type=24 linekey.10.value=224.5.6.20:1000X
⚠️ Notes:
- X in the IP should match the multicast port set in Algo
- Extension must always be 0 (Algo & cordless Yealink devices require this)
- Linekey number (e.g., 10) can be adjusted as needed
Apply this to the device or group/site level configuration:
multicast.listen_address.1.channel=0 multicast.listen_address.1.ip_address=224.5.6.20:1000X multicast.listen_address.1.label=Insert Name Here
⚠️ Notes:
- Start with
listen_address.1
; increment for each additional group- Keep
channel = 0
for compatibility with Algo and cordless devices- IP & port must match the configured Algo zone for interop
Configure Yealink DSS key as follows:
linekey.10.extension=0 linekey.10.label=Insert Name Here linekey.10.line=0 linekey.10.type=24 linekey.10.value=224.5.6.20:1000X
⚠️ Follow the same rules as above for IP/port, extension, and key placement.
