Deregistration
First the faulty handset will have to be deregistered from the base station. If the old handset still works we recommend doing it from that handset, but any registered handset will work.
Press the OK button to enter the main menu and select the settings menu (gear icon).
Then select Registration.
Deregister Handset
Then enter the PIN 0000 and press OK.
This should show a list of the handsets registered to the base. Select the faulty handset and press OK to deregister it. The handset you are working from will be highlighted on the list - this is why we recommend working from the faulty handset if you are able.
Registration
Next the new handset can be registered to the base station. The handset will begin searching for the base station once it is powered up.
You will need to press and hold the pairing button on the base station until the first of the 3 lights on the right side starts flashing.
Once the handset detects the base it will display "Unregistered!" and give you the Reg option on the left soft key.
Select register on the handset and it should automatically connect and configure the handset.
We recommend making an outbound call from the new cordless handset to your cell phone to verify everything is working and the caller ID is correct.
