Call Pop Notifications

Update - Click Here for a how-to video covering the information in this article.

Pop Notifications are Windows desktop notifications that appear in the lower right corner of the screen.

There are 4 types of Pop Notifications OktoRocket CE can create:

  • Call Events
  • Repair Order Events
  • My Repair Orders Only
  • Task Events

Call Events

Call Event notifications will notify users of any incoming calls to their site.

Normal incoming call notifications will display the contact name from OktoRocket CE. However if there is an open RO ties to that contact the notification will also display the Advisor, Vehicle and RO#.

Repair Order Events

These notifications will display status updates for all RO's at the users site.

My Repair Orders Only

My ROs Only notifications are similar to Repair Order Events, but will only be applied for RO's assigned to the User account receiving the notifications.

Task Events

These notifications will include incoming SMS messages and new Voicemails.

Enabling Pop Notifications

In order to receive these notifications they have to be turned on in OktoRocket CE, approved in the users web browser, and a OktoRocket CE webpage has to be open.

Notification settings are controlled from the user profiles in OktoRocket CE:

Pop Notifications will also need to be allowed in the web browser. In Chrome, notification settings can be accessed by clicking on the sliders icon next to the web address box. In some cases, if that drop down does not have the notifications toggle, notifications can be found under Site Settings in the drop down.

We recommend using OktoRocket CE with the Google Chrome web browser. Other browsers may work but are not supported.
